We All Blossom In Our Own Time

And the day came
when the risk it took to remain tight
inside the bud
was more painful
than the risk it took
to blossom.
Anais Nin
If I know anything at all, I know that life goes through its seasons. Sometimes, the season is lush and green as it brings forth the promise of new growth. Sometimes, life lies dormant. It looks brown and dry and lifeless. But, the truth is, life is simply rejuvenating, getting ready for its burst of growth. Without the season of dormancy, life would not blossom.

Nin has long been one of my favorite writer and this one of my favorite quotes.
What you did with it, of course, was to give it your own poetic touch. Lucky me to share my life with such a fine poet.

Very powerful. Your reflections give me a chance to pause and ponder. I have made a copy of this and laminated it, so I have a constant reminder.

There's an online company, i'm not sure of their name, that will take your blog and make it into a book for a very reasonable price.

Looks like you may have to consider doing this for Chrismtas gifts for family and friends...
