Hi everyone.....it is with sadness and hope that I write this post. My niece, Briana, who is 35 years old and a single mother of a ten year old son, has just learned her cancer is spreading.
We need your prayers!
She was diagnosed in June of 2009 with uterine cancer. Cancer cells were also found in her ovaries and again in her stomach. We have learned tonight that her chemotherapy has not been working and several more tumors have grown.
We need your prayers!
She is at the University of Minnesota hospital and has been told she needs to make plans because she has a ten year old son. Her parents, my sister and brother-in-law, have been with Briana and her son for the week. I spoke with my sister and she said Briana is dehydrated and nauseous. The doctors are going to work out a chemo program that they hope will be effective.

I believe in the power of prayer. I am sending this post to all my friends and am asking you all to send it on to your friends and families and ask for their prayers.

I heard about Briana through Sarah. As I told Sarah, I hear your intense pain through this very sad and difficult time. Briana looks like a beautiful soul. I am praying for her, her son, your sister, and you as you spend this time with Briana, supporting her through her pain. Miracles do happen and I am praying for a miracle. Dear Father,
I come before your holy presence right now to bring Briana to you. We ask that your will be done with her health. I humbly ask that you would bring strength to her entire family that they would be able to stand beside her and her son through out this ENTIRE process. That you would be glorified through her life. We know Father that this cancer is not what you would want for her to go through. We know that as much as we care for her, you cared for her SO much that you were willing to leave heaven and come to Earth so that she would be able to spend eternity with you. Please send the holy spirit upon her now, that she would find peace and I beg you to wrap your arms around her right now and bring her comfort. Bring comfort to her son and just LOVE him up. Father, we know that he is so frightened right now and I just ask that you would bring complete healing for this family. In the name of Jesus' I ask these things. Amen

Hi Judy:
I will put Briana in my prayers and I do believe strongly in the power of prayers. Love and support is so very important and I think what got my girlfriend through her cancer treatments was she always remained "positive". I do think that is so important but again difficult at times. She now is cancer-free as of her last check-up.
Tell Briana to never, ever give up and stay strong.

I started praying the minute I got your e-mail.
I stopped by church to light a candle and put Briana on the church prayer chain as well.
I am also praying for her caregivers and family as well.
