DerekI went over to Sarah and Dave's this morning to take care of Derek (4) and Jackson (almost a year) because Davey had his track and field day at school to finish up his kindergarten year and Sarah and Dave wanted to be there and sweet little Jackson is sick. Boy, that was a long sentence!
Derek and I spent some nice time together while Jackson slept. I don't know how the conversation started, but for some reason I asked Derek if it was snowing today. Derek said, "No." So I asked him why not. Derek said, "Because it is daylight! Silly goose!"
And, I laughed. How could I not know that?
