Life is full of opportunities. Some come our way. You wake up one day, and there they are. You just have to recognize them and say, "Yes!"
Some we have to create. All it takes is a little desire, vision, courage and action.
Sometimes the roads we travel are roads we never, in our wildest dreams, considered. But, before you know it, miles are made one step at a time.
The road leads to the future whether we are on it or not.

That picture is very dramatic. Dad does a good job of capturing those kind of moments.
If I were to guess 20 years ago that I would have lived in South Carolina, Georgia and then Iowa, I never would have believed it would happen that way.
I'm always excited to learn what my next adventure has been. I say has been because you don't always realize yoou were on an adventure until it is over.
It's the "Yes" that take courage to say.
I thank God that you have helped me to do that.
you are so right ad....dad does do a great job capturing the sunsets and the flowers and the birds..nature at its best...and you are also right about not knowing what our adventures are until we are well into them or are looking back on them....sometimes I find myself saying..wow....wow..who would have thought? I guess if I think about it..all of life is an adventure and resting up for the next adventure...
It's one thing to be awake before 7am, but to have such profound thoughts is simply wonderful.
